Security Officers
with Scout Security Group
This position requires a Level 2 Security License (Unarmed)
Scout provides the training and certification in-house, so there is no out-of-pocket cost to you.
Our Security Officer roles vary across multiple environments, including:
Downtown Austin skyscraper towers (Security/Concierge)
Vehicle patrols
Campus sites (monitoring via golf cart or vehicle, ensuring security posture, and preventing trespassing)
Concierge services at high-end residential towers
Standing guard posts
Our team looks for individuals who are self-starters, reliable, competent, think critically, and demonstrate integrity in every situation.
Please answer the following questions in your resume email:
Level 2 private security licenses are regulated by the Department of Public Safety in the State of Texas. Background checks are required before a license is issued.
Do you have anything on your record that would prevent you from being issued a license?
The background check covers criminal convictions including felonies, misdemeanors, and checks the Sex Offender Registry.
Do you have consistent and reliable transportation that enables you to commute to and throughout the greater Austin area?
If interested in a full time position, are you available to work 4 to 5 consecutive days weekly?
We typically conduct interviews Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
